We are back with a fresh round of updates to make space management even smoother. This time, we’ve focused on making reporting faster, bookings smarter, and everyday admin tasks easier. Take a look at what’s new and what’s improved.
The latest Archie product updates
SMS notifications via Twilio integration
You can now decide how to communicate with members, employees, and visitors at every step. Connect Archie with Twilio to send SMS, emails, or a mix of both. Use simple templates to keep messages on brand, send texts with short links that are easy to tap on mobile, and choose the right channel for each type of message.
For example, you can:
- Send booking confirmations by email and day-of reminders by SMS.
- Deliver SMS emergency notifications during evacuations.
- Notify employees by text when their visitors arrive and are waiting.

Improved and scheduled reports
Reports load faster and are easier to read. You can see the status in real time and download the file right away without going to a separate page. You can also set reports to run on a schedule, pick the columns you need, and send them automatically to a list of emails. For example, send a weekly occupancy report to your ops team every Monday at 9 a.m.
Disabling recurring bookings
If you want tighter control, admins can now switch off recurring bookings for users. This is useful when schedules change often or when you want a fair chance for everyone to book high-demand rooms.

Booking approvals
You can require an admin to approve a booking before it becomes final. While the request is waiting, the time slot is held so no one else can take it. The requester sees it as pending, and admins get a notification to review and approve or decline.
Automatic visit check-out
At the end of the day, Archie can check out the remaining visits for you. Your visitor logs stay accurate, and your team does not have to close out records by hand.

Smaller improvements that make a big difference
- Smarter room declines: If a room is already booked and receives another invite via Google or Microsoft Outlook, it will now automatically decline the overlapping booking. This keeps schedules conflict-free and availability accurate.
- QuickBooks sync: We’ve improved support for cases where one payment is applied to multiple invoices, making financial reconciliation smoother.
- Better URL encoding: Custom payment and door access control integrations now work more reliably thanks to enhanced encoding.
- External ID with SSO: External IDs now populate automatically when accounts connect through Single Sign-On, making identity management easier.
- Developer contact field: You can now add a developer contact email to your client app. This ensures your team is notified quickly about API updates or changes.
- Smarter resource filters: Filters for rooms, desks, and resources now account for each item’s operating hours, making availability searches much more accurate.
- Improved group archiving: When archiving a group, members who are still active in other groups will stay active. This prevents unintended deactivation.
- Custom paragraphs on public pages: Want to share important info with users directly on your booking pages? You can now add custom text blocks to public pages, like desk booking or store pages.
- Customizable document names: Invoices and credit notes can now have custom names. This helps you meet local legal requirements and stay aligned with your accounting processes.
We hope these changes save your team time every day. Have ideas or requests? Send them our way so we can keep improving Archie for you.
