Archie Visitors November 2026 update.

This update makes it easier to find your guest in spaces with multiple entrances, create a block list to restrict visitors, and allows visitors to request assistance when they arrive. Also, we can now announce a new connection: Archie now integrates with UniFi!

Know where guests arrive and manage visitors remotely

Add named entrances to your space and link visitor tablets to them. This means that when your guest checks in, their host knows which entrance to meet them at, for a little less waiting time.

You can also do a lot more remotely, as an admin. From your desk, it’s now possible to:

  • Print badges at any tablet from the web.
  • Check in a visitor from the admin app, including the time and any custom fields, without having to use a tablet.
  • Ping a tablet directly in Archie to find where it is.

Archie now integrates with UniFi

UniFi lets you automatically give users access by sending them a PIN to unlock any restricted areas. Access is created and removed automatically each day, so there’s no need to set up temporary credentials or remember to revoke them afterwards. It’s hands-free security: visitors only have access when they should.

Block list for heightened security

We’ve enhanced Archie’s safety visitors to make it easier for you to block or restrict certain visitors. Implement visitor safety checks to flag visitors or deny them access according to set rules. Any visitors that match your custom criteria, such as first name, last name, phone number, or email, can be flagged to a certain member of staff or rejected outright.

Custom fields can also now notify certain people via email – so the right people get the details that matter ahead of time.

Make assistance at arrival easier

Add a help button to the visitor tablet with your own short description, so guests can ask for assistance during check-in instead of waiting at the screen.

You can also turn on a setting so visitors can search for their host directly on the tablet and find that person within Archie.

Smaller improvements and changes

We’ve improved our reporting and documents. Your visitor report now has a table view and is exportable with more filters and columns: status, walk-in, host, visitor, check-in device, form, photo and more. You can also schedule exports.

You can also generate documents automatically. Visitor names and visit details are filled in from your templates, so all that’s left is a quick check before sending for signature.
